I have seen that many of the products sold by Walmart, Sam's Club, et. Al. are, of course produced-assembled etc. in foreign countries. While some of this is understandable if objectionable, the thing that bothers me most is when I see cans of Mushroom stems and pieces, corn, broccoli and such coming into our stores from China! Seriously? Wouldn't American workers be best served by raising these ourselves?! There may be some hidden explanation of why this is a good idea- to buy this stuff from China. But, given the PRC's genocidal war against everything Tibetan, shouldn't we rethink such imports which would better serve us by growing them on American farms-OH! that's Right! American farms have all but vanished! Unless, that is one is growing American Government subsidized corn and such!
